Neil McEwan - PGA Head Professional

The Professional Shop at Maxstoke Park Golf Club is run by PGA Head Professional Neil McEwan. Neil was appointed Head Professional in 1994 and, with over 30 years of experience, is considered to be one of the best coaches in the Midlands.

Neil has been coach to European tour players Steve Webster, Tom Whitehouse, Andy Sullivan and Sam Walker as well as many Challenge tour and PGA golf professionals.

Neil is a member of the TGI Golf buying group meaning the professional shop is stocked with major leading brands in the golf industry. With some of the most competitive prices around, unbiased PGA advice and the facility to try before you buy Neil and his team will not leave you disappointed.

The Pro Shop offers golfers of all abilities a comprehensive custom fit service looking at every aspect of the players game. The professional team are authorised Ping and Titleist E-Sure custom fitters allowing them to custom fit your clubs to your swing.

The Professional team will ensure all visitors to Maxstoke Park Golf Club enjoy their experience. This may include assistance with welcoming your guests, on course refreshments and markers, score card management and results services for the end of your round.

Chris Blackmore - Assistant PGA Professional

Having earned a BA Honours Degree in Sports Studies from the University of Wolverhampton in 2010, Chris moved back to the UK in 2016 from his hometown in Dundalk, Ireland to begin his training as an Assistant PGA Professional.

Shortly before turning professional, Chris enjoyed a short stint as part of the Scratch Team at Maxstoke.

Chris previously spent two summers coaching golf at a summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA and has experience in coaching various other sports including football, basketball and Gaelic football from his work at the summer camp and his time at University.
